"This is truly an astounding app. How they can program it with so many languages is nearly incomprehensible to me. Regardless of how it was done, it came in quite handy on my recent travels overseas. This is a must-have app for those who need help with translation."

"Really great app that can be used offline. Seems to be more accurate than Google's translation app. You can talk to the app in your native language, press play and it will translate to the language you have selected. Show it a picture of a Chinese menu and it will translate it for you. Super cool app. Highly recommend."

"During a trip to Europe with my husband we chose a tour package that arranged to visit seven different countries and have accommodations and some choices of activities and sites to see included. It is a great idea for us because we are not experienced traveler. The Google Translate app was amazing. It improved our trip and really added to the cultural experience. We could take pictures of signs and the app would tells us what the sign was conveying. We didn't have to haul around different "foreign language to English" dictionaries or other language translation books. That would have been very difficult on a seven country tour. The Google Translate app enabled us to speak to anyone without a miscomminication."

"iTranslate did an OK job solving my problems with finding a reliable translation app for Android, but there might be other options. I was sometimes concerned about its translation accuracy - other resources I know to be accurate, including direct translation information provided by native speakers I personally know, would sometimes give different results. With the many other options available, I'm not sure if I'd recommend this particular resource. "

"The Reverso app is great for translating phrases and collocations. I use it all the time for Italian and Spanish translations. The phrasebook and flashcard features to memorize words you use frequently are also neat."
