"I read Brokeback Mountain and I thought it was a serious disappointment. The story was very short, the concepts were poorly developed, and the characters were wooden and uninteresting."

"True story books are rarely based on true stories these days. Yankee, Go Home seems to be the exception to that rule. I was personally shocked at Sharon's story with one of the oldest terrorists groups in America, the Ku Klux Klan, while living in the south. It was realistic enough, and shone a light on a part of history that should be revealed and not covered up. "

"Like most people, I'm a really big fan of this book. I would say that it is a bit verbose (is that the right word?) at times. Wordy, I guess is what I am trying to say. Could be a difficult read for some, but the story is really great and it's a wonderful insight into that Post World War time."

"This has to be one of the most well-known books in existence. If you are one of those unfortunate people who has never heard of Animal Farm, then you need to stop everything right now and get it. Once it arrives at your doorstep, don't do anything but read it. It is an excellent book and highly recommended. The one thing most revealing in the book is how much it relates to our lives today. Don't miss this one. It is a very important read."

"Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl is one of the best non-fiction books I have come across. I read this a few years ago when I was looking for a true, historically accurate story that was also very emotionally poignant. The Diary gives a good picture of what life was like for Anne, and the trials she went through. Very few books better illustrate the fear one must've felt while hiding from the Nazis during WWII."
