  1. 1The Handmaid's Tale

    35

With how novels set the bar high, it's kinda hard for adaptations to keep up. But Hulu did it well with its adaptation of Margaret Atwood's novel. It is set in the future where America is under a theocratic rule that forces fertile women to be impregnated by men from wealthy families. If you're curious about what it has in store for you, check it out The Handmaid's Tale on the websites below!

"Although this show is depressing to watch at some point it does remind its viewers of everything that has been done to women throughout the years. I also think that what is shows might also happen in the near future if there is not equality between the sexes. I hope everyone will take their time to watch this particulary those misogynists or sexists to change their perspective of how the see the women. "

"The first time I watched How to Get Away With Murder I was hooked! This show is genius and has an incredibly flawed female lead. I also like how it is full of suspense and packed with often harrowing drama, as well as how it is about life experience and the desire for love and acceptance. Take note that is coming from a guy. "

"This show is one of the rare shows that's all about women and definitely dedicated for all the women out there. There are just too much relatable and realistic stories throughout the show and the topics that have been tangled from domestic violence, rape, and motherhood in a realistic way. "

"An underrated show. This deserves to be recognized as much as other shows out there with strong female leads that women should watch to learn from. It actually revolves around Alicia Florrick who needs to balance her personal life and career. P.S i kinda want to be Alicia hahaha~!"

"Superheroes fan here, scratch that i am a DC superhero fan so as a fan i would not miss this badass show. I like how it teaches girls that they can save the world too in their own way, and that they shouldn't be afraid to face their fears. "
