What are the best TV shows that unfortunately had only one season?

Annie Macawile - Contributor

Have you ever been hooked on a certain TV show that you don’t even want it to end? Luckily, most of the TV shows we love are produced with so many seasons. For instance, Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Supernatural, and The Walking Dead all have neverending seasons. For some of you, it may be a good thing since this means you’d get to spend more time with your favorite TV characters, and get to be entertained even more with what the show has to offer. But for others, binge-watching a show with so many seasons can be pretty tiring. One of the reasons for this is it would take a lot of days to finish them. And not everyone has the same amount of patience for watching shows with almost ten seasons, unless you’ve been watching it every time a new episode airs. Over the past years, the longevity of a certain television show determines its success. So when a TV series has many seasons, it means the show is successful enough to have a large number of viewers. However, just because it has a large fan base, doesn’t mean the show must continue for a long period of time. Remember, although television shows have always been considered as a cheaper alternative to movies, it doesn’t mean they are also cheap to produce. So while some television shows have approximately ten seasons, sadly, there are also great TV shows that lasted for only one stellar season.

While you may find a one-season only show that may leave you to feel like somehow fleeting, you may opt to marathon a bunch of best TV shows that could put you into a roller-coaster ride of emotions. So, grab some popcorn now and binge-watch these best television shows that only had one season.
