DID YOU KNOW?

Have you ever thought of living in a world where the undead are running wild and crazy as they try to satisfy their insatiable hunger for human flesh? No? Then, I bet you are one of those who think that zombies are unreal. But, seriously, just how far from reality can it be? According to scientists, an apocalypse can happen but not the kind that we see in zombie movies or television shows. If anything, having rabies is the closest that a human can get in being a zombie.

Rabies is a disease that can be transmitted from the saliva of a rabid animal to an open wound. It can also be transferred if directly exposed to an already infected animal bite. One of the effects of this virus can turn a human brain into a delusional state. A worse case of rabies can even cause severe brain damage that can lead to death. Unfortunately, it is not rabies that caused the undead to rise in hit zombie series such as The Walking Dead. Our entertainment industry never failed to fuel our imagination on how an apocalypse can go down. Now, whether a virus is real or not, it may be best for you to watch and learn survival tips in these TV shows we have listed for you!

"Fear the Walking Dead was an attempt to cash in on the zombie craze that swept pop culture by storm a few years ago, although in my opinion much too late. AMC is clearly trying to milk the popularity of Walking Dead for all it's worth with this prequel, but in my opinion the delivery falls flat, and the zombie genre is starting to look like the ghouls who populate it."

"iZombie is probably my favorite show right now. I've been bingewatching it lately. I really love zombie shows, so it's great for me. I've gotten sick of The Walking Dead, so it's nice to have a different zombie show to watch. It's a bit cheesy at times, but overall I love it."
