"Noroi: The Curse is a very effective horror movie. What I mean by that is that the movie does induce horror, fear, and anxiety. However, it's not great filmmaking in general. It's pretty underwhelming as art."

"I think this is a decent horror movie. It does have some very scary moments within it but it's not going to blow your socks off in any way in my personal opinion. Good movie though for a late night flick. "

"I love this movie because it gets what a horror movie should do. The threat of the antagonist is as compelling as when it finally appears. Finally actors and actresses in this movie who perform well without many lines is also amazing. It's one of the best horror movies I've seen in the last few years."

"Such a great film that doesn't get as much love. It maybe hasn't aged well in the sense that it's not like movies today, but it's still such a historic film and anyone who claims to love horror should see this."

"This is one of my favorite horror movies of all time and also probably the most underrated there is. If any movie deserves a remake today its this one. Brings back lots of memories from my teenage years. Freddy is a great horror character and the story line is excellent. "
