"Never really heard of urban fantasy novels before this, but it certainly fits that theme. It also has a male lead character if that's your thing. Overall, a nice read. Check out if you like fantasy themes mixed in a modern city setting. "

"My absolute favorite novel of all time! If you've never read Neil Gaiman, consider this your gateway book. The juxtaposition of the story with London Above is jarring and so true, even if it's a fairy tale of sorts. I also highly highly recommend the audio version from the BBC, but only once you're read it for yourself of course! "

"Simon R. Green is a New York Times Bestselling Author. You wouldn't know it from reading this book, though. It's a poorly written rehash of a dozen previous books."

"This is a great solution for the topic provided above. The protagonist is a male hero with supernatural abilities so it may cover all aspects of the topic being asked. On top of this, it has very good reviews and a decent price."

"This seems like a fitting solution for the topic. The only gripe I have with this is the use of the word urban. Not sure if Harry Potter can be classified as an urban novel but perhaps it can be a technicality. Regardless this is a good series of books and anyone will easily enjoy it."

"This novel was an instant classic. Gaiman, one of my favorites, probably put out his best book when he released American Gods. I remember when I heard this was getting a TV adaptation and went and reread the novel for the third time to get ready. "
