"House of 1000 Corpses is a fantastic movie is you're looking to get your urban legend fix. At first glance, it's true that the movie isn't hinged around one specific urban legend like some other films are, but as you continue watching it it becomes clearer that a whole multitude of different cultural crime legends have infused Director Rob Zombie's worldview and the development of the world he builds in this story. This movie is exceptionally frightening and thrilling."

"A Nightmare on Elm Street by Wes Craven set a new paradigm in the slasher genre by mixing fantasy and supernatural with the classic body count. Freddy Krueger, the iconic killer was a child murderer who was burned down to flames is killing the children of those who killed him by entering into their dreams when they fall asleep."

"This is a classic horror movie of the 1990s. It is not as good as its prequel, but is an alright horror film in its own regard. I watched it with a group of friends, and we all agreed it is not really scary, but it has many goofy and weird moments."

"One of the first and best slasher flicks. The killer is far above the more typical ones of today's slasher movies, and the gaudy 1970s Christmas lights just sets this one off."
