"This is a great vegan cookbook. If you can deal with the language and stereotypes that are overly present, you can get some really good vegan recipes here. The recipes are complicated but, the food you make will be delicious."

"I like this cookbook because of how extensive the recipe selection is. I am not vegan, but I try to limit all meat and animal products. I have found some misses in this cookbook, but, overall I have really enjoyed the variety and the quality of the recipes."

"I really wanted to find a Vegan cookbook that had recipes that you'd actually want to eat. I read Smith & Daughters: A Cookbook (That Happens To Be Vegan) and found a couple in there that were pretty good. Some are pretty bland but what do you expect from vegan meals?"

"I tend to not follow fabs and other trendy things. I'm a meat eater who loves meat. This book "But I Could Never Go Vegan" showed me dishes I am willing to try out. I do think I need to get more vegetables in my diet and this would be a great way to do that. If you're a vegan or want to become one then this book is a must read and that's coming from a meat eater who wants to try some vegan dishes in this book."

"Classic Indian Cooking is a nice vegan cookbook, but certainly not the best. I prefer a cookbook that has recipes AND pictures. That way you know what your dish is supposed to look like. This book does not have any pictures and does not even include some very popular Indian dishes that should be in here. I was disappointed but not to the point of returning the book. I will try to pick up another cookbook with Indian recipes later to fill the gaps. "
