"I stumbled upon this site when a friend shared a video on Facebook. I followed the link and I think I got stuck on the site for about an hour and a half just watching and watching videos. The quality of the videos is certainly better than YouTube and the content is censored so it is quite safe if you let your devices playing with children around. Overall, this is the best solution on this page."

"Metacafe is definitely one of the sites that are better than YouTube for watching vids. The selection of videos they have is crazy huge. While people complain about the ads, you can bear them. ANYWAYS, THIS IS A FREE APP! So what do they think they are subscribing too? Netflix? Prime? Some people are just a bit too dim for their own sake. I love this app. It has a better selection than youtube a better interface. And it loads faster."

"In my opinion, this is one of the better solutions on this list. Not only does Internet Archive offers videos and such, it also has a large collection of books and music and video games. But wait, there's more: this is a free website. What more could I ask for? "

"Well, this is certainly a better website than YouTube. Crackle has a huge collection of movies and tv series that you can watch. It is free so it is surprising to see that these guys have a lot of content in their cache. My only complaint is that it contains ads. But that could be expected, right? So this is a great alternative."

"Well, 9GAG is a good site for watching videos but DailyMotion is a better site. The quality of the videos are better and the user-interface isn't that far behind from other sites. They also have a good collection of videos which you can't find on YouTube or 9GAG. It actually loads faster too. I actually prefer DailyMotion over YouTube."

"I don't know if Vevo is any better than YouTube, to be honest. But I find this a useful app for watching videos just like YouTube. And just like YouTube, it is free and available in Android and iOS. As an alternative to YouTube, then Vevo is a good choice as it does everything that other online video hosting sites does. The difference is that it has a better user interface than most."
