DID YOU KNOW
Did you know that it only took a day for the recording of Darth Vader's lines in the first Star Wars movie? David Prowse is the one who wore the suit, but his voice is not that modulated to impose terror. The man behind the iconic villain's voice was James Earl Jones. Jones is a movie and theater actor who dubbed the villain's lines throughout the course of all Star Wars films. In Star Wars: A New Hope, he managed to record the lines in a single day only. He was not credited for what he's done for the legendary sci-fi movie series though, not until the release of Return of the Jedi in 1983.
But, we don't need to be a film or theater actor or actress to dub a Sith-like voice. Technology improvements made it easier since there are available voice changers for Mac online, and even for PC. Although some may use it for entertainment purposes, it can also be used for pranks which can be a major disadvantage. But, there's no doubt that voice changing software and tools can be very useful up to an extent that it can protect identities and keep its users safe.
