"These tips are weak. They don't tell you what it's really like. You have to use devious tactics to get ahead. Waste of time."

"My experience on LinkedIn has been pretty average. I've made some good connections with people in industries I'm interested in but have not received any job offers. I've only had a few interviews scheduled through people I've met on the site. I think in person connections are still more important than those you make online. I'll keep my account open and hope it works out in the future."

"Sherri Thomas' Career Strategist won't help anyone get a job. It's a trashy self-help book wearing a bow tie. You would acquire the entire knowledge in this book from reading through a couple pages of motivational Pinterest pins."

"Indeed is one of the most well-known job search websites. It has expansive job listings and filters to help job-seekers quickly identify desirable jobs. Job-seekers can also post resumes and quickly apply to jobs through Indeed rather than going through other job application processes. Unfortunately, Indeed, like all job websites, cannot comprehensively list every job available in your area."

I love that you could apply through the app and check whether you had been accepted. This takes away the question of whether you are actually being still considered for a position or whether your application has been rejected."

"This is a fairly decent way to make a resume or CV, if you are a beginner and have no idea what you are doing. Otherwise I feel like you might be better off just looking at a template and creating something yourself. Overall it depends on your skills with a word processor and computer and how familiar you are with creating resumes. If you need some extra help in either of those areas, this will do the trick and help you create something that looks professional. If you don't, then this is kinda an additional hassle and waste of time."
