    Don't take it personally

Don't transform someone else's problem into your problem. It's not about you - maybe this person is rude to all the people - and you can't change their behavior. If someone is rude to you, try to stay calm, be as kind as possible and don't overthink the situation.

"This is probably the best way to handle unfriendliness. Just let it slide right off you, emotionally speaking. Continue with your own civility, and don't let the negative actions of unfriendly people worm their way into your self esteem."

    Show empathy

Showing empathy to someone who is being rude to you is hard, but try to walk in their shoes and find out what's happening to them. Maybe they are having a bad day or don't even realize how rude they are. You can ask them why they are being like this: maybe you will be surprised with their answer.

"Often times people can be rude because of the emotional state they are in. They may not even realize they are being unfriendly because they are preoccupied with their own troubles. Showing empathy can be a great way to acknowledge how they are feeling and have them open up, especially in a work environment. "

#3Let it go and walk away

Let it go and walk away

Don't let drama get you. If someone is rude to you, just let it go and don't give the situation the importance you think it has. If you can walk away, take a deep breath and continue with your life.

"This is one of the best advice you can give a person. I personally use it on a regular basis when I come across some very unfriendly people who want to ruin my day. I would advice my friends to use it. "
