"Snowshoeing is a great form of exercise. The huawei band 2 pro would be an excellent watch to track your calories and not get lost in Northern Michigan due to it's built in gps. It tracks your sleep and your heart rate. It is water resistant which is important because one can always fall as a snowshoer. And it is rechargeable."

"Not sure why anyone would need to wear a device for snowshoeing. I'd imagine this activity does get your hear rate up. This watch doesn't specify anything about cold weather in the features so I cannot endorse this as the best wearable for snowshoeing. "
