"When my heated liners broke down after two years (with a one-year warranty), I decided it was time to look for something else. A lot of research led me to the Outdoor Research Lucent Heated Gloves, and I am delighted with them!! First, they are very efficient. What I mean is, a single 1800-mAh-battery per glove gives excellent duration in the cold, and that means fast charge times for long heating time. They outperform my old liners here by a factor of nearly 2. My first test was cycling at 23°F. The gloves lasted the entire 2:11 ride at full power. At worst, I thought my fingertips might have felt a little cool on occasion. And that is saying A LOT since my fingers are VERY sensitive (hence my need for these gloves). On another ride at 35°F the batteries lasted 2:15 and ran out--close enough to the stated life of 2.5 hours, but in demanding conditions (road cycling). Then I rode at 33°F in 9-mph winds with the gloves set to medium power. They lasted the entire ride (2:22), and my hands were quite comfortable. My old liners would not have made it that long in spite of having twice as much battery capacity, and medium power would not have felt as good. Finally, I rode 3.0 hours at 36° in 8-mph wind with the gloves set to medium. They answered the call with total comfort and lasted the entire ride. For me, the data says everything I need to know. Beyond that, they are comfortable for cycling (though I may wiggle my hand to manipulate the wrinkle to act as padding). I can take them off and on easily to work with my phone. I bought a second set of batteries because I want to be able to ride 3 hours at 20°F. At that point, I will have to worry about other things (face and feet), but not my hands. "

"I spend a lot of time outdoors, and whether I'm skiing, snowboarding, hiking, or snowmobiling, the Backcountry Access Tracker 2 is an essential beacon that I've recommended to various friends and relatives in the past few years. One of the main selling points is that it's incredibly easy to use, but even more crucially it has the potential to save lives."

"I am a small female and the 34mm watch is the perfect size. I did not want the bulky-ness of its competitors. I would have actually preferred if the watch was even a little smaller. The band has proven to bit too long and the arm fastener does not keep it in place. The material of the band is really soft but it does catch a decent amount of lint over time. Overall very nice looking watch and extremely light and comfortable. It does not bother me at all when I sleep. - The hour and minute hands are controlled automatically through the app. I had zero problems setting up the watch and have had zero issues with connectivity to my iPhone (running iOS 10). - I have showered with the watch and had no condensation (as customers have experienced before Nokia bought Withings) - Sleep tracking does not seem very accurate; so far has not been able to detect that I was awake despite pushing the button to check the time... EDIT: Even after 2 weeks of wear, the watch does not provide accurate sleep data"
