"Amazon is a good site for this problem, but if there is an obvious, quick way to look specifically for second hand books, I am unaware of it. As far as I know you can search for the book, then look for third party sellers. It is convenient but I imagine there are sites specifically designed for second hand book shopping. That said, the options are usually great on Amazon and purchasing and shipping are usually very easy and reliable. "

"I think this is an excellent solution! I love to read and sometimes because of the price, the book is rare or vintage, you have a hard time finding the book you're looking for so to be able to go to a website that offers so much pluses for buying and selling books is a great solution. I have never used this site until today and i love it! Will continue to use this!"

"I think this solution is a great one. It gives a variety of different books with great prices. There is a range of different books including text books which I think is great. Also it will tell you how much yo are saving from the original book when you are on here. "

"Books are insanely expensive. The last time I went to a bookstore, a paperback I wanted was 20 bucks! FOR A BOOK! I remember when books were 10 bucks. Sheesh! I thought "Amazon's got them cheaper, but I wonder if places like Ebay would be a better choice?" Well, not really. There isn't a guarentee the book you get is actually the book in the photo. The one and ONLY time I got a book from eBay, the seller said the book was in perfect condition but had a couple of worn pages. I thought the book maybe had at most 5 or 10 pages loose, which to me wasn't a huge deal given the price. I got the book and the full cover was taped onto the book and half the book wasn't taped to itself. It was a mess, given it was only 3 bucks (shipping and all) I didn't do anything but give bad feedback on the item but ended up getting and then they had the nerve to contact me with the complaint. ME! So now I just buy from Amazon, they are the better option for 2nd hand books and they really make sure the books are accurately described by New/Good Condition/etc."

"I am a lover of good literature-the older the better. BookFinder helps me find the old classics that I love to collect without having to search for long periods of time through antique stores or thrift stores. All I do is type a title and/or author name into the search bar and it gives me a list of booksellers who have copies of the book I want. Perfect for looking for rare and collectible titles!"
