"I have plenty of times been called by "travel agencies" stating that I have won a free cruise, obviously these are all scams. These calls are unwanted and spam and the people that you should get into contact with is the Federal Trade Commission. They have a great take action category on their homepage and you can file a consumer complaint using their easy process!"

SpamCop is a website in which you can report spam in an easy way. Just register yourself and you can report unwanted emails. The site offers also a blocking list which lists IP addresses which have transmitted reported email to SpamCop users.

"EVERYONE gets a ton of spam. It's just a fact. And I was tired of Gmail and Outlook's built in features not catching all of the spam email I was sent, leading to unwanted and annoying notifications on my phone and iPad. I tried SpamCop and it offered exactly what I needed - a way to not just report spam email but also learn from what other people reported and block those senders as well. It's like crowdsourcing spam prevention. Very cool!"
