"Two words, LinkedIn Profinder. Anyone who remembers what trying to find a designer or any other kind of professional before the days of LinkedIn could tell you what a mess it was and now its as easy as just searching for you are looking for, where you need them, and then you get a great shortcut to bringing on talent. Of course you still need to put your HR pants on and do the work to make sure they check out but LinkedIn at least makes it easy."

"As a huge European design buff it can be challenging to locate designers in a single place. Not anymore, Cargo Collective allows you to locate all your favorite designers. In a nice single location you can even discover new designers out of the main stream for all your unique fashion needs. Highly recommend checking out this site."

"Dribble is a good way to find designers, but it is not a good way to direct your search to just find ones in Europe. It is really an open platform with designers from all over and quite a few from the US. There is also not a special way to search for designers in Europe, so it's difficult to just find them that way."

"99designs is supposed to be one of the best websites to find designers in Europe. I did find a couple of creative people on there but the selection was pretty slim. You might be better off reaching out to someone in person to try and line up a connection if your business is looking for a designer. "

"I work for a software business that is reaching out to the Europe marketplace, and being in marketing I always prefer to use regional artists for our graphic designs to capture the subtle differences in culture that can be present. I really enjoyed working with the artists here. They are always receptive to feedback, and provide much better quality work than other platforms out there. I was a long time user of Fiverr for our smaller piece-meal art work, but honestly sometimes working with the artists there are a pain to work with. Iconfinder has really affordable icon designs that also look great. I will definitely use them again."
