Dragon Ball Super is a Japanese manga series and anime TV series written by Akira Toriyama. The manga is illustrated by Japanese manga artist Toyotarou. It began serialization in Shueisha's shonen manga magazine V Jump in June 2015. This new series serves as the sequel to the original Dragon Ball manga and Dragon Ball Z TV series. An anime adaptation of the manga series was produced by Toei Animation and on Fuji TV from July 2015 to March 2018. The story follows the adventures of Goku and his friends after they defeated Majin Buu and brought peace to the world. After a time of peace and prosperity, a new threat has come along to disrupt the peace and put the whole universe in chaos. Goku and his friends face off against beings that are far more powerful than anyone that they have faced before. Chief among them is one of the universe's deities, Beerus.

In order to defeat these beings. Goku must get stronger even more and what better way to defeat gods than by being one as well. This is exactly what he did and now he wanders the galaxy in search of the next great and more powerful opponents. The series debuted to mostly positive reviews and chief among them was the huge improvement in the quality of the art style and animation. If you're a Dragon Ball fan and you haven't seen this show yet, you owe it yourself to do so. While the North American viewers already have the show dubbed in English, some still prefer to watch Dragon Ball Super subbed. You have the option to do so with the websites down below so check it out now.

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that Dragon Ball Super: Broly has deleted scenes due to budget and time constraints? Following the Universe Survival Saga, this is the first feature film under Dragon Ball Super series. It also contains the background story of Saiyans Goku, Vegeta, and Broly. According to Comic Book, the deleted scenes have 70-minute duration.

Released in 2018, it became the highest-grossing Dragon Ball film ever resulting for fans to be curious of what scenes got cut. Its director Tatsuya Nagamine prepared the storyboards. But why did Toei Animation has to cut some scenes? Furthermore, what lies beyond this movie? Some deleted scenes include Raditz and Vegeta’s childhood and Raditz and Nappa's fight scene. The director also said that most of them are fight scenes. But some fans are already speculating that this is a scheme for a bigger storyline in the future. Because of this, its fans are hoping for the release of cut scenes. Even some are praying for Nagamine’s scanned storyboard for the public. Do you want to watch the original series aside from the subbed version? Well, you can check out these websites offering English dubbed anime.
