Good news, dog lovers! Did you know that another doggo has finally found his own home because of another dog movie? Thanks to the creators of Disney's Lady and the Tramp live-action re-telling of the classic 1955 musical film, he'll never look for shelter again. We're talking about Monte, a 2-year-old terrier mix, who stars as Tramp in the upcoming romance film. Yes, you read that right! That cute pup with a scruffy face and a pair of adorable eyes is actually a rescue dog. He is voiced by Justin Theroux. A cocker spaniel named Rose is starring as Lady, his love interest in the movie. She is voiced by Tessa Thompson.

Monte previously lived in a kill shelter in New Mexico. He was hoping to find a real home before it was too late. To those who don't know, a kill shelter is one that kills animals once it is full or the animals have been there for too long. Fortunately, Monte was rescued by the HALO Animal Rescue in Phoenix, Arizona. The no-kill shelter took care of him until he found his human. According to CEO Heather Allen, Monte is well-loved by the staff for his behavior and sloppy wet kisses. No wonder he was able to capture the heart of Mark Forbes, one of the film's animal trainers, in an instant. He eventually became his dog parent. Isn't he cute? Well, surely, you're going to love him even more after watching the movie.
