DID YOU KNOW?
There are so many movies being released weekly and naturally, any sane person would rather watch them instead of like, work. Now watching movies online has become as easy as 1,2, step. But the best streaming platform for movies like Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO or iTunes only offers old movies and not the ones that you are just DYING to watch. You know, films that are still in cinemas. While it's tempting to save a few bucks and watch a movie that's currently playing in theaters on a dodgy website, you might want to consider the possible risks that you can get yourself into.
Let’s clear things first. How can we say that a site, device or resource that lets you stream current movies is illegal? Oftentimes, they’re free of charge (different from the free trial). Moviemaking is a business, so obviously in order to watch a movie, you have to pay first. Another example is the use of Kodi boxes. While using the device isn’t necessarily against the law, purchasing a box that has installed add-ons that let you stream the latest episode of Game of Thrones or The Avengers: Endgame is definitely illegal. Another good indication that a streaming website is illegal is if it advertises a third-party VPN service. The consequences? You can get fined, or worse, possibly serve jail time. Our advice? Steer clear of illegal streaming sites, take advantage of the free trial of streaming services, and do not purchase boxes that say “fully loaded”. Watching movies is fun. Watching movies behind bars is not.
