Did you know that Rambo: Last Blood is the concluding movie in the Rambo film series? Most millennials may remember when John Rambo first appeared on the big screen back in '82 for First Blood which became a box office hit at the time. From a production budget of $14 million, racked up $47 million in the U.S., making it the 13th highest-grossing film of the year. And after its screenings worldwide, the action movie collected $125 million in total. And after achieving financial success, the world saw four more Rambo movies. First Blood's sequel, Rambo: First Blood II premiered in 1985 and amassed a domestic gross of $150 million. The third film, Rambo III came to theaters three years after. It was the most expensive movie ever made until Back to the Future Part II came and took over. And, the fourth motion picture of the franchise only came twenty years after the third one.
Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. In an exclusive interview, Adrian Grunberg, director of the Rambo series' fifth installment opened up about Last Blood having a sequel. In his brief statement, Grunberg said that "this movie closes the circle." However, Sylvester Stallone himself told in another interview that he will reprise the role if Last Blood becomes a hit. So who knows? But, while waiting for Rambo: Last Blood to premiere, why not watch Creed II online? It is one of the latest action movies that he starred as the legendary boxer, Rocky Balboa. But whether we'll still see John Rambo in action after the forthcoming film or not, one thing is certain: the Rambo saga which started in 1982 is still relevant even to the younger generations and it is only one of the many feats under Stallone's legacy.
