DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that Vanessa Hudgens is being called 'Netflix's Christmas queen'? Well, aside from her amazing singing voice which fans would immediately recognize, she has been a renowned actress as well. Movie fans have seen this delicate sweetheart evolve on the big screen. Who would even forget her amazing role in teen favorite 'High School Musical' as well as the party-girl type of drama she has shown in 'Spring Breakers'? Vanessa has proven that her talent goes much further than singing. With all the movies she has done, she has turned out to be a household favorite. But how about being called 'Netflix's Christmas queen'? One could not argue much about this as there has been much buzz about the new Vanessa Hudgens Christmas movie 'The Knight Before Christmas'. This Netflix movie comes less than a year after the release of her previous Netflix holiday stint in 2018's 'The Princess Switch'. There is no surprise to the cool response that such holiday movies have received. After all, who doesn't' love to watch romantic movies in the holiday season?
For Netflix and other video-on-demand streaming platforms, special holiday content could mean so much. Having the best Christmas movies on Netflix might be the difference between streaming success and failure. To put it into context, Hallmark has been the most-watched cable network because of their holiday shows. Netflix seems to have learned to adapt to the buzz of the holidays. Just recently, it has created originals like 'A Christmas Prince' and 'The Christmas Chronicles'. The latter getting 20 million streams in a single week. Surely, the enterprise that is 'holiday entertainment' just got much weight due to the revenue it brings. If Netflix has then plunged into the depths of Christmas enterprise to be one of the best websites to watch holiday movies, they just might have found their queen. Who would it better be? None other than an ex-Disney princess we suppose.
