"This is an amazing childrens book. It is a best selling series and great for children. Little Miss wise and witty and funny but always talking of right and wrong. It has some adult humor included as well for the adults who read it to the children. I remember my mom reading this to me when I was younger and I would always laugh at the silly way she would read it to me and she would say things from the book that made her laugh nonstop. It holds great memories for me that I hope many other children can enjoy as well. "

"Of all the Shel Silverstein collections, this one is my favorite. There are many classic poems in this book that I still remember from childhood. My mother refused to give up her Shel Silverstein books when I found out that I was expecting, so I had to buy my own. This is a must, must, must for your children. They will love the catchy subjects and "bouncy" writing style that Shel has perfected! Read and enjoy!!!"

This will help the book last. Its also a classic that we all grew up with. You need to be careful though as this is not the full version. So if ordering make sure that you realize that."

"I have read several other of Margaret Davidson's books and have thoroughly enjoyed them, so when I discovered this book, I quickly bought it to read to my young, animal-loving, daughter. I found myself needing to edit some of the stories because the details would have caused my daughter to be distraught. For example, in the chapter on Barry, the story ended with Barry being stabbed when rescuing someone and later dying from the injuries. That's not the kind of bedtime story I wish to tuck her in with at night. (On a side note, Wikipedia has a section on Barry that asserts the story of the stabbing is an untrue legend and instead, Barry was retired.)"
