"I dabble in networking a little and I enjoy the details of this wifi scanner. It allows you to see network information, access points, and connected users. Overall good and detailed."

Wi-Fi or WiFi is the wireless local area networking technology (WLAN) that is widely utilized for connecting computers and other electronic devices to the internet. Moreover, Wi-Fi is the wireless form of the Ethernet network. Before the technology was called Wi-Fi, people used to call it WaveLan, FlankSpeed, DragonFly, WECA, and IEEE802.11b Direct Sequence.

Did you know that according to a multinational study, people are more addicted to Wi-Fi than sex, chocolate, or alcohol? As the internet has become omnipresent, the seemingly ‘need’ of people for it has also become stronger. The iPass Mobile Professional Report in 2016 revealed that 40% of 1700 people are more willing to live without sex than to live without their Wi-Fi connection, while 37% of them voted for sex, and a rate of 14% said that chocolate is their addiction surpassing the rate of those who are into alcohol.

Moreover, a recent study at McMaster University in Ontario revealed that majority of the people are claiming that their improved state and quality of life can be attributed to their heavy usage of Wi-Fi. Interestingly, one of the factors that people consider in purchasing an internet service is the speed. Higher upload speed is most favorable for people who are into playing real-time games. Amidst all the issues surrounding the internet, Wi-Fi has truly revolutionized the world because of the convenience, mobility, productivity, and the efficiency it has offered.

"The ease of use is the big selling point for this analyzer. It does all the work for you but it's downfall is two fold. First it is a Netflix produced product and I have had problem with Netflix and my account and their customer service in the past offering no solutions to ongoing issues with their platform. Second after analyzing my speed it offers no solution for improving or optomizing my Wi_Fi performance. I can already tell how my PC is working by how it performs while I'm using it."
