"Great tool to extend the wifi on my phone. I never knew that apps I wasn't using would impact my wifi speed or signal. This app is easy to use, I'm not great with technology but this does the hard part for me and I get the benefits of better a better wifi connection. "

Did you know that the most-used technology otherwise known as Wi-Fi has significantly shown an impact in our everyday lives? Among other things, Wi-Fi was founded in September 1990. It is only a few years before it turns on its 30th year which also shows that it has been the biggest transmitter of communications around the world for garnering 71% of mobile communications users. Before it became known as Wi-Fi, it was named as WaveLAN, FlankSpeed, DragonFly, WECA and IEEE 802.11b Direct Sequence. The term Wi-Fi was then invented by the Interbrand. It came from the play words of terms such as “Hi-Fi” or “High Fidelity”.

Meanwhile, South Korea leads as the fastest user of Wi-Fi with an average internet speed of 26.7Mbps. It was then the Ethernet as "the most commonly used wired network standard", which was invented in the early 1970's by Bob Metcalfe. With the birth of technology, Wi-Fi can now also be connected with devices such as Walking Sticks, Umbrellas, Shirts, Water Bottles, Tails (for festival goers) and Cutlery. We’ve left the really odd items off this list! Today, research has shown that almost 3.7 billion people are using the Internet which reflects over half the world’s population connected to the world wide web including you.

"I wouldn't recommend Who's On My WiFi for the sole purpose that it's not exactly user friendly, it takes a while to get the hang of. So it wouldn't be good for someone just to jump in and use. I would recommend Acrilic Wifi Home or Vistumbler, both very good programs that are free and are easy to learn."
