"This is a classic Faulkner book, so it was a good choice as a result of my query. It's a pretty subjective thing to ask for, so there could be a variety of responses, but I do agree with this one."

"This was very difficult to read, as themes of family strife and destruction were the main premise of the stories of each individual family member. Unfortunately, the sentence structure of the entire book made it hard for me to fully understand the storyline, as I had to read the story two or three times to make sense of it all. Awful, to say the least. "

"This is one of the best books William Faulkner ever wrote. Then again, I am a huge aulkner fan. It is not a quick read, by any means. It is a book to be savored and read slowly; comtemplated. Don't be put off by the bad reviews about long sentences and difficulty reading it. If you like Faulkner, you will love it. If you haven't read Faulkner, give it a try. "
