"The exact kind of riveting and original writing you expect from Burroughs. Some sections can miss the mark a bit, but the overall experience is worth those parts. Highly recommended for Burroughs fans. "

"Junky: The Definitive Text of "Junk" is a book by William S. Burroughs. It is available from Amazon. It is about eye witness accounts for field reports of American post-war. It has extremely good reviews on Amazon. If you have interest in America in the 50s, like I do, then this will be very interesting to you. It fits the topic nicely."

"If you are a William S. Burroughs fan then you will like The Western Lands (The Red Night Trilogy). If you have not read Burroughs I recommend starting with Naked Lunch simply because I do not believe this should be your introduction to Burroughs, however, I love this book; I find the prose intense and inspiring. Burroughs tongue in cheek style is nothing less than comic genius."

"This book is definitely by Burroughs, so that's a start. It isn't really one of his best books in my opinion, but it isn't bad. I enjoyed it, but many people did not. I have heard that Naked Lunch is much better."

"As a longtime fan of William Burroughs I've been enjoying this novel immensely. It's kept me enthralled with each turn of the page and I'll be finishing it before the end of the day. I'm already going to order the next book in the trilogy. I can't wait to continue this story. If you're a fan of apocalyptic stories that threaten to wipe human kind from existence I would check this out immediately!"
