AquaSnap allows very easy and convenient to use tiliing for windows applications in windows10. Windows are easily re-sizable and easy to relocate on the screen. Windows with higher priority can be displayed atop another window, while making it transparent so you can see the window behind it, if necessary. Best of all, this app is free for personal use. More

This is wonderful! Being able to view all my windows with just a click is so helpful. Before I had to resize them slowly, and I would always wind up with one that overlapped another, so when I clicked on it the other minimized. Great app! More

This looks pretty cool if you needing this type of feature.

I use two monitors and I have the need to resize and move my windows fairly often anyway. This software made my life easier by allowing me to resize and move the windows in a more efficient and easy way. I suggest its use to all the multi-monitor user but also to who needs to work on split screens. More

From trying it out it works well until you need to restart it, so I am going to look for other options. The price is a bit steep as well.
by Harold Guerrero
A very useful program that helps make organizing and navigating the newer versions of Windows a breeze. It has over 50 options to choose from so you can definitely count on finding something you'll like. More

Windows 10 has a lot of pretty good desktop management tools built in, but there's always room for improvement. I found Actual Window Manager and realized it did everything I needed in a window manager. The automation and scripting tasks were particularly useful in making sure that certain things opened up in certain sized windows all the time. More

Now look. Anyone who knows Diamond Devereaux knows that Diamon Devereaux is BUSY. Ever since the IPO her calendar looks like a game of Tetris. In fact, if it wasn't for her Cappucino macine and Chaka Khan's "I'm Every Woman", she's pretty sure she wouldn't even try to come into this raggedy little office day after day. But honey: she do, she does, and she has for years. And not a soul in here has seen Miss Thing wear the same pair of shoes twice. But she digresses. When The Diva was ghosted three months ago by her so-called fiance she had just two questions:
Is it ever appropriate to wear a veil and train to a board meeting?
And more importantly: How was she ever going to find time to do the elaborate stalking required of a woman scorned? Enter Divvy, a classy control center that made it easy to keep tabs on every dusty and duplicitous social media account that skinny jean gigolo ever created. Bing, bang, bong! Mama has 3 perfectly placed windows on her desktop. And she needs them, since her shifty-eyed ex is wining one hussy on Facebook, dining another one on the 'gram, and grinding a third all up on Snapchat. Bong, bang, bing! There are suddenly 3 more windows, and Queen Muvva has donated her wedding dress, ordered a No Hard Feelings fruit and wine basket, and googled/purchased "opposite of Viagra, no taste no smell". And finally: BAM. With everything on screen under control she's able to keep her phone in her hand and her eyes on the prize. She just got a DM from the zaddy who invented the Super Soaker. She has one free hand left, and she is using it to give Divvy a heartfelt thumbs up. You go, Divvy. Mama thinks you slay. Moreby Kathryn Berry
Can I just say how adorable Divvy looks like on my screen? So good to use and so intuitive! I so loooove this!
by Benjamin Williams
I gave this a try and while it's kind of ok, it doesn't really do a whole lot. Nothing I couldn't do without the program, almost as fast and without paying $13 dollars. As commercial software, I just can't recommend anyone shelling out money for something that does so little. More
by Stephen Stone
As someone who can't stand things to be out of order, I always struggled when working with information from many windows at a time. I always had to take extra time to make sure I could get everything lined up correctly so I could focus on the project I was actually working on. Divvy makes it fast and easy to organize all of my windows so I never have a problem keeping all of the information I need available and simple to keep track of. More
by Justin Woods
At my job I am required to keep multiple windows open all day, with Divvy I can easily have all of my windows neatly organized on my screen. I really like the sleek design and the ease of use. Highly recommended! More

I multitask a lot, and I don't have the fortune of owning more than one monitor. This makes my desktop look cluttered and untidy. While looking for solutions I found this, which lets me tile my windows on my desktop. Now it looks much tidier and I'm able to work more efficiently. More
by Keith Nguyen
I use this in my company because they've got great discounts for licensing multiple PCs. Instead of buying dual monitors, having a single huge monitor proved to be less expensive in my opinion., So having MaxTo as my windows manager is a good buy. More
by Brian Bradley
If you are on windows 10 you likely don't need a tile window manager as monitors can already split up into 4 regions but if that isn't enough MaxTo is a reasonable option. My only issue is that free options exist that do the same thing. More
by Paul Holland
All my Windows 10 clutter has now disappeared thanks to MaxTo. I just clicked a few buttons and now my Windows 10 tiles are all neat and tidy. What would I do without you? More
by Lawrence Austin
I tried Maxto but it was not impressive at all.I found free window managers that were more impressive

This is a great tool for organizing my desktop windows. When I have multiple windows open at a time on my laptop, Mosaico makes it easy for me to categorize them and keep them organized. It is a simple tool to use, and has made my online tasks less chaotic. The software does not slow down my computer either, which I find very important! More

Mosaico is simple and offers a free trial to even get you started if you're' not sure you want to purchase it, does exactly what you need.
by Ryan Keller
I had heard some good things about this app, but upon installing, I found it to be slow, less than intuitive and buggy. It screws up my Windows taskbar, likes to freeze and adds little new to the free alternatives already available. More

Its nice to have a customized way of staying organized. TidyTabs will help you tab what needs to be tabbed, but gives you the option to arrange the tabs however you like or need and to "untab" windows. This makes my OCD happy. :) More

I have an online job that requires multiple windows. This makes it easier to do my work and make more money. I occasionally feel like things move slow when this is on but overall am satisfied and see no problems. More

Lets you drag your windows using middle mouse to predefined screen areas with visual feedback. Supports keyboard shortcuts as well.
by Victor Milovanov null
This site incorrectly shows Stack is free. It is not completely true. There's a slightly older Windows 7 version, that is free for personal use. There's a newer Windows 10 version in Windows store, that costs $6 for personal and has a free trial. That version also says, that enterprise use would cost additional $15 per 6 months. More

SplitView may be a good way for some PC users to organize multiple windows on a single monitor. But given its $39 price, it's way too expensive for me. It may take a little more work, but I can get the same benefits for free by manually organizing my PC windows. More
by Ethan Phillips
I find it very disappointing that the page didn't have a single photo of the program in action. That seems very short sighted. I would go back to the drawing board on this one. More

I needed a tiled window manager for Windows 10 to customize how windows behave. I tried Chameleon Windows Manager and, frankly, I found it to be terrible. It messed up my whole system. Now Windows 10 is buggy and the program frequently malfunctions. I really don't like this program at all. I uninstalled it immediately. It's also not intuitive to use and takes a bit of research to get it working properly (although, in my case, not at all). I do not recommend this at all. More
by Harini Nair
First of all, Chamaleon Windows Manager isn't free. Second, I've heard that it's very hard to figure out how to use. I haven't tried it myself for this reason. More
by Wayne Arnold
This helped me a lot when I was looking for a Windows Manager. The best part is it was free!
by Andrew Young
Chameleon is a good program if you like to customize things to your liking. I found myself frustrated with the default set up of my desktop. This allows me to tweak and tailor everything to my own personal tastes. More

This is not a great solution for windows 10, at least in my opinion. it is really for a power user and geared towards linux. in this application it appears to be very powerful, but for me, a basic windows 10 user i found it complicated and cumbersome. More
