"This is indeed Wong Kar Wai's best film ever! Wong Kar Wai successfully told a beautiful and poignant love story by using many slow motions and close-ups on parts of the body to tell the emerging love between Mrs. Chan and Mr. Chow. I felt that this film has a calm flow but still shows sexiness without the need to show everything which I really love. I remember that my professor once said that for a film to be good it should have perfect balance photographs and this film possess that characteristic. I must say people shouldn't miss out a masterpiece like this!"

"Chungking Express is one of my favorite Wong Kar Wai films along with In the Mood For Love. They are both so dear to me. But, I must admit that Chungking Express gives me more warm feeling because of the characters. I just felt that they are more relatable than the characters in In the Mood For Love as I can really imagine that I encounter them every day and the idea of walking and passing by them and having a random meeting is possible. This film is definitely a binge-worthy movie! A film like this one never gets old and boring. "

"Broken hearts are never a good thing. But when a person does it on purpose it is VERY bad. This story has many plot lines and is set in the far east. A good read."

"This is a depressing and physically painful movie that I still want to watch multiple times especially when I'm heartbroken and feeling down and just want to release everything. All scenes were beautifully shot and remain to be remarkable. One of my favorite I could say is when they're trying to save their relationship but it's just not working anymore. A must-watch!"

"A masterpiece that is beautifully sad. I still can't get enough of 2046 even though I've already watched this multiple times in cinemas. It is not as strong as In The Mood For Love or Chungking Express but it is still excellent and very well done. Some might not agree with me but I actually like that this film uses the future to tell the past. It can be quite confusing but somehow it makes the spice of the story. This is a very good movie to watch with a glass of wine. Worth it!"

"I first saw this film in New York Film Festival and I must admit that I got confused at first but after a few times of rewatching the movie I've grown to love it and surprisingly most of the scenes are now tattoed on my mind. The acting and cinematography are outstanding. The color gradient and camera shots are poetic and every scene has a deep meaning behind it so it really requires more than one viewing to be fully absorbed by this film.  This is Wong Kar Wai's best work for me although others might not agree but who cares??? "

"This film is filled with lots of contrasts. It has a good story but the dialogues are not engaging and it has good direction but the occasional motion blur shots irritates and annoys me. This is actually a sweet movie with some beautiful scenes that are nicely done. Honestly, David Strathairn and Rachel Weisz largely helped to uplift this movie for being the worst movie of WKW. They both did not only fine but incredible job as Arnie and Sue Lynne."

"I think this is the least likable movie by Wong Kar Wai. I find the plot chaotic and messy as it was not successfully put together and some scenes are quite confusing. Also, the characters and actors here lacked connection with each other. The hints and riddles given destroyed the mystery of the story.  On the brighter side, this film has a very commendable color, set, camera angles and beautiful music."
