"Though this book was a good read, I am not sure if I would recommend it as reading for when someone is bored. This book is warm and almost therapeutic. I would say a person needs to be in the right mind set to want to read this book. I would rather read a comic or something humorous when im bored. :)"

Police violence and the black lives matter movement come together in a form that is impactful and a page-turner. If you are looking to learn something new and to tap into one of the most important things going on today in American society, check out this novel. Love it."

"Probably one of my favorite books ever. I just love the style that she write in. Its a huge book and people are always like I can't believe you can read all that and then I show them and they understand. But it's so thoughtfully written, so much emotion, doesn't need to have a lot of words."

"It is a story based on the water horses of Celtic folklore of which I am not particularly a fan of either to be honest. However, since these horses are monstrous beasts and the story is based around people trying to race them you can see that there might be a little more intrigue to it than at first glance. There's little bit of romance and mystery but in the end none it is really enough for me to get over my internal dislike of horses so this one gets a pass from me."

"I love books with a "young adult" theme and I recently came across "All the Bright Places" by Jennifer Niven. I instantly fell in love with this book given how relatable the characters were and how compelling the story was. It is a very touching story and it'll definitely leave you in tears in certain spots. The story covers quite a few "serious" topics and I could see this upsetting a few readers however. Overall though, I would highly recommend it to any teen out there or anyone who loves young adult novels."

"There are much better YA books honestly. Meg Cabot isn't an awful writer by any means...but she isn't a Rick Riordan, a Suzanne Collins, a JK Rowling. I feel like there are tons better books to recommend."

"This book is about women empowerment, a really interesting premise and is well executed. The main character is a great female character, intelligent, warm and decided to correct the wrong doings of her dad alonside her sisters. Her dad has kind of ruined the lives of many people by breaking their hearts in different ways and she is decided to correct that. Is a heart warming story, well written and with strong characters. "
