"The Divergent series is nothing to get excited over. It offers the same things other young adult dystopian books offer without any ground breaking changes to the formula. I was quite bored throughout reading this series, because it was so predictable. The young main characters had to rebel against an evil government to create peace; this is exact plot ever adult novel uses and it has got tiring. I feel asleep several times reading the series and the only reason I finished it was because I heard it was such a great series, so I continued to read it hoping it would get better. I was completely wrong with my optimism. "

"The Hunger Games is one of the most widely-praised dystopian series of all time. Set in a dystopian future in which the rich force the poor to fight to the death for entertainment, The Hunger Games also infuses a romantic storyline. It is one the finest series for young adults."

"Catching Fire - the second in the trilogy of the Hunger Games books. This book is excellently written and keeps your attention. I was happy with the way the story ended and enjoyed the two heroes of the story - Katniss and Peeta. Young Adults will enjoy the futuristic and survivalist tale as told in Catching Fire."

"This is the 2nd book in a bestselling trilogy and tells the tale of Lena, as she navigates the Wilds. Dystopian Young Adult novel with a lovestory included. Even though I'm far past the "young adult" ages, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire series. "

"An interest unexpected hybrid of Cinderella and Black Mirror. This retells the tale in a futuristic way way with cinderella as a cyborg species. This could have gone either way as a far as being great or terrible but was written well. Has some unique twists while staying true to the tale. Adds a depth of character to everyone that other Cinderella type tales failed to do. Good overall read."

"I liked the other two a lot better than this one. Divergent and Insurgent are the first two and very good. This one is not as exciting or action packed. This one is more about the two characters and what they are doing. Has a good moral story to it. "

"The genre of YA dystopian romance novels has become oversaturated in recent years, and it's become harder than ever to find new, fresh ideas. That's why I love Angelfall so much, the story of a girl trying to save her sister, who's been kidnapped by angels during the apocalypse. The very premise have taken my expectations for YA dystopian romance to new levels."

"This one seemed to start out pretty good. Has an interesting cast of characters, who live in an interesting world. It was good for a while, but seemed to go on a bit too long for my liking. Still a good read. Just be sure you like long drawn out story scenarios."

"Was looking for a good dystopian series with romance on par with The Hunger Games and Divergent series. This book had all the right plot themes but I just wasn't completely in tune with all the characters. I don't think it is a bad book but it fell a little flat to me and just needed some more emotion and feeling in the character interactions for me."
