"I happened to find this book bargain shopping, and I have to say it was a lot different than I was expecting. Given the situation, the characters have to face their own mortality, and while they may be teenagers they have the minds of much older and mature adults. It's very well written, and it certainly gets the tears flowing. I highly, highly recommend you read it as it is a very sober look into the life of a teenage cancer survivor. "

"The Selection is a very intriguing YA novel that is romantic in nature while still maintaining a very interesting story line for those that are not into romance novels. The competition that America Singer goes through is quite intense and grueling and makes the latter half of the book quite gripping as she find's Prince. "

"This was a somewhat rare find in the YA novel genre as it is a very successful series with a strong female lead. I feel foolish that I almost passed it by at first but after seeing reviews of the series as a whole I took the plunge. This is the third book in the series and while it's good on it's own I would definitely recommend reading the entire series"

"Fever is one of my favorite novels by Lauren DeStefano. As the second book in the Chemical Garden trilogy, it really drew me in and had me thinking about what could happen in the finale. The style of her writing is, once again, exciting and wonderful. The carnival setting is just outright imaginative and colorful. I loved following Rhine and Gabriel on their journey. What a fun novel!"
