"A more realistic approach to sex and pregnancy is preferred. Twilight Saga has some weird sex and pregnancy scenes."

"It's okay, I guess. Has some good points to it. But after reading it for awhile, I felt like it couldn't be a real diary. Just my opinion. It does offer a bit of entertainment value though. Overall, once you get past that it's not a real diary, you'll be able to enjoy it without judging it harshly. "

"This is one of my favorite Judy Blume books. It is a story about Katherine, a young woman who gives herself to her first man and feels like he will be with her forever, but when she is away from him for the summer, she meets someone else, suddenly, she is forced to decide and figure out her feelings and see who she truly loves. This story of inner-struggle and how she determines real love from first love is one that poses the same questions for the reader and makes this a very interesting read."

"This is a twisted coming of age story that might be too intense for younger adults. I could not easily relate to the main character and I suspect many other people could not. It doesn't end well and that is telegraphed very early in the book, which makes the ending predictable. "

"This story is different then most other stories as this is about a young girl trying to find love but yet also avoid sexual slavery. This is interesting because it is not often you hear about very particular situations like this, however this draws in readers as the story begins."

"Vampire Academy is one of the best young adult novels involving sex and pregnancy. I didn't know how appropriate this was for my teenager so I read it myself. I found it entertaining and not at all encouraging with the whole sex thing. This book got my teenager reading so I greatly approve of it."

"This young adult novel is full of heavy themes. A girl who is faced with death wants to live and has to do so in the few short months she has left. The writer tells the story beautifully and I teared up quite a few times. The premise isn't new but the story is artfully told while still being raw, emotional, and uplifting."
