"The characters in the book are very unrealistic and difficult to relate to by their actions. This made it quite difficult for me to get immersed into this story. I won't spoil it for anyone but the main characters make some strange decisions which threw me off. These decisions were so odd that I don't think anyone would make them. Like I said it's unrealistic to the point of confusion."

"As an avid reader of the genre, I found this book to be terribly boring and incredibly overrated. Nothing interested going on in it at all. Bland characters. Boring storyline. Pretty poor writing throughout. Wish I didn't waste the time."

"I'll say this, it isn't a book you'd normally catch me reading and that's not exactly bad. However, the book club I am part of decided on it and in turn, I read through it and was pleasantly surprised by it. I wouldn't call it flawless by any means, but from somebody who doesn't normally enjoy this? It was worth the read."

"I often wonder if the people who write these sort of books suffered from a trauma from which they never recovered. My girls dragged me to see The Fault in Our Stars in the theater, so naturally, when Paper Towns came out, we all had to go to see that one as well, because it was by the same guy. Well, it stinks just as bad. I'd almost prefer Twilight."

"This romance book has an amazing story to tell, situations that happen in this book are very interesting and the characters are described very vividly, and sometimes you think that you are seeing all the situation happening in front of your eyes. I have had a qualitative time reading this book and i am sure that it will be the same for the majority of readers. "

"A classic tale of forbidden romance between two teenagers that come from different worlds. At times corny and overly dramatic, the Twilight series is best suited for young female teens, as a guilty pleasure perhaps. The characters are one dimensional and the story is nothing mind blowing, but if you are craving a cheap romance novel, with angsty vampire and werewolf teenagers fighting for the love of their lives, then this one will do nicely. "I have read Twilight, as well as all of the sequels. Although I am in my mid-20s, I think it is a great book for young girls and adults alike. The girl, Bella, falls in love with a vampire, Edward, who resists turning her. She's also in love with another vampire guy as well, so there's a love triangle. Overall a great book."
