"Kristina Georgia Snow is the perfect daughter: gifted high school junior, quiet, never any trouble. But on a trip to visit her absentee father, Kristina disappears and Bree takes her place. Bree is the exact opposite of Kristina -- she's fearless. Through a boy, Bree meets the monster: crank. And what begins as a wild, ecstatic ride turns into a struggle through hell for her mind, her soul -- her life."

"This is a book about sibling relationships - more importantly, about twins. I felt it was a pretty slow read, and would not read it again though. It bored me quite a bit."

"An easy read for young adults which can be accomplished during lunch time and after school. Great to help with reading, highlight young adult relationships, and read for the dynamic between characters. I think it's a great book and recommend it!"

"This book is pure garbage. It's too simple for young adults, it might as well have been written for a 4 year old. But then again it's just poor writing and plot all the way through the book."

"There's something special about reading a very engaging young adult romance novel. I'm not sure what it is as I'm 42 now, but I guess you could say it's the sense of nostalgia that brings me back to better times in my life. Far From You was a novel I picked up several months ago and finally got around to reading it. I'm really enjoying it so far as I find the reading to be pretty easy. I think right now I can relate to a lot of the challenges that the main character is facing and with that it makes this very relatable. I'll be on the look out for more books from Lisa Schroeder. Count me in as a fan."

"Verse novels are strange things, but can be very good at creating imagery and appealing to the emotions. According to my teenage daughter, this definitely succeeds in that, as well as making her cry! I read it too and have to say that it is well written, though definitely targeted to teenage emotions and perception. "

"This book can be hard to read (it's the story of a young Nepali girl who is raped and sold into prostitution). So, it's both moving and so sad (I had a hard time getting through it without a few tears). But it's well worth it - and so well written. It's not really written in verse, though, it's in proper prose. On the other hand, as a book, it is excellent. "

"Fallout is one of the best young adult novels written in verse style. The book while still relatively new, has a 1960's setting that is very vivid and realistic. This historical fiction novel is sure to bring back memories of old and give new life to some of the more controversial aspects of the time."
