"I don't really have a use for this when it comes to my videos that I upload on Youtube because I don't really share my videos to other sites. However if you want to reach out to a bigger auidence and want to post your videos on other blogs and forums, the tools here make it super convienient and time saving to do so. I reccomend this if you are going that route."

"I think it's heading the right direction, but it needs more users and videos to compete with YouTube. I uploaded a couple videos on this site, but I don't think it's getting as much views as it would have gotten on YouTube. The upload process was easy and painless."

"YouTube alternatives are slim. I like to get my content anywhere to be viewed. I have been uploading my videos on Dailymotion. It is OK. It does not have as many viewers as YouTube but it helps a little with getting my overall numbers up."

"MediaGoblin is the alternative to youtube. They are not in the business of making money, although that is nice, but instead they are here to give you the tool to share and show your media. It does what it says it does, and uploading and sharing content is just as easy as youtube, flickr, or any other site. In other words, I came to enjoy this new platform because you can upload different types of files."

"I don't prefer that you have to download so many plugins to get it to work, but it'll do in a pinch. If you really want something to replace YouTube, though, I'd suggest something like Vimeo instead."
