"One of the best Zelda final bosses with its menacing size and tight mechanics. The sound cues you get during battle is well done and the motion-driven whip is satisfying to use. It's not a unique take but using its own weapon to defeat it is just feel great after."

"One of the best Zelda final boss not for the battle but for his interesting story and quest for revenge on those who oppressed him. The fight itself is great as he sends you to fight all previous bosses throughout Twilight Princess serving as a sort of a throwback."

"In Dragon Ball fashion, Koume and Kotake fused together to form Twinrova. You will need some patience and good timing while fighting her using your mirror to absorb attacks and launch your own counter."

DID YOU KNOW?

The Legend of Zelda game franchise by Nintendo turns 33 this year? Shigeru Miyamoto was behind some of the most popular games such as Donkey Kong and Super Mario. He then developed Super Mario Bros. A game that has sold more than 40 million copies after its release in 1985. Miyamoto began work on what would be his most personal video game yet, The Legend of Zelda. Along with story writer Takashi Tezuka, the pair created a game that was unlike anything else at the time. Something that would have a far-reaching impact on those that would come after it. Deep RPG-like experiences were unknown on consoles of the mid-'80s. The Legend of Zelda would project a very different pace and atmosphere. Zelda would unfold more like a fantasy novel than a 10-minute thrill-ride. It would have an open world to explore and a definite if simple, character arc for its protagonist.

Initial speculation was not great among people at Nintendo. Miyamoto himself had his doubts about the reception of the game. Zelda’s non-linear structure and interconnected puzzles immediately captured players’ imaginations. Released globally in 1987, The Legend of Zelda would sell more than 6.5 million copies. The best Zelda bosses were one some of the best bosses in any RPG across platforms. Zelda often shows up in "greatest of all time" video game lists. Today, the game has spawned different iteration across many platforms. The best Zelda final bosses feature a good mix of platforming and skill to defeat. The Nintendo Switch came together with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It soon became its flagship game and is one of the best games for the Switch to this day.

"Giant mechanical robots, ghastly ghosts, and monster are nice and all but fighting a dragon is just plain cool. The mechanics for this battle are also spot on and has you literally dragging the creature down to earth. It's something that would probably find itself in some tv show or movie battle sequence."

"It's almost philosophical to say that the greatest foe that you will ever face, if yourself. That is exactly what Dark Link represents, all the darkness, all the doubt within Link that he is trying to battle and kill. From a battle standpoint, he is one of the hardest Zelda bosses that you'll face. You will need to improvise as you will both be basically using the same moves and maneuvers."
