What are the best zombie movies?

A
kfir

Zombies are all the rage in popular media today, especially in blockbuster movies. Since they don't have specific classifications, films portray them in different ways. They can either walk as slow as a turtle or sprint hella fast. They also vary in physical appearance but they all have one thing in common, they are out for blood. These zombies have no mercy for human life and will take it with no hesitation. This factor is what makes these movies terrifying. The lead characters who encounter these creatures are often fearing for their lives. It wouldn't be a good film if they kept hiding and running away from them, even though that's the realistic thing to do. Zombies in movies often symbolize the start of an apocalypse. A reason why zombies appear could either be through a virus, transmission or kept unknown. This apocalyptic aspect can be seen in many films such as World War Z, Zombieland, and Train To Busan. More often than not, these movies always start with the root of the outbreak. Later on, they connect the first case with the leading character. In other cases, viewers are already presented with the aftermath of the apocalypse. Regardless, they all show zombies ready to kill every living thing. It looks like movies and TV shows about zombies aren't going anywhere anytime soon. In fact, they still continue to dominate the big and small screen. So without further ado, here are the best zombie movies that you should definitely check out, kfir. Don't hesitate to leave a comment on your favorite flicks! Enjoy watching!

"Zombieland is one of my favorite zombie movies ever. This is a real groundbreaker among zombie movies because it is the first big zombie comedy movie ever. I'm really a zombie movie fan and i noticed that every zombie movie shows the first few weeks of a zombie outbreak. But with Zombieland it gives u a glimpse of life months/years later. BTW, i cant wait for Zombieland 2"

"At almost 15 years old, this movie is still a classic. It started the zombie trend with a dramatic way and spawned several games and other spin-offs such as Dead Rising and Shawn of the Dead. I didn't know it was a remake, but even so, the effects were well-done without being cheesy. Really a must watch for any zombie lover."

"Night of the Living Dead is a true horror classic zombie film that changed all the horror films that followed it. And yes this is also one of the greatest low budget cult movies ever made. Althouh there isnt much gore on it the gory scenes are shocking and really disturbing even though this is in black and white e."

"Read the book which i can assure you has absolutely nothing to do with the film. Because this movie is so much more suspenseful and action-packed. However, if you read the book or watched the film first you won't be disappointed. So yeah this movie has kept me on the edge from the start to the end/. "

"Loved this movie but the ending of this was really heartbreaking. I Am Legend shows you emotions such as emotional isolation and loneliness. I also watched the alternate ending of this movie which i do believe is close to the ending of a book which where this is based."

"IMO this is the most believable zombie movie. When i watched this i didn't even know any of the actors and yeah i haven't seen them in anything again since then. This is definitely a terrifying look into the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse."
