We all have different tastes in movies. As with all things, every fan will have his or her preference and standards on judging flicks. One film may be brilliant for one but a bummer for some. That's just the way it is for movies. Once a well-thought-off production is released, you can just expect it to crumble and break down on the hands of critics. To put it simply, for the longest time, the success of a movie cannot be predetermined. Heck, having a film feature the most star-studded cast ever assembled in history might not even guarantee it a spot among the list of the best award-winning movies of all-time. A factor that will always play out is how much a film makes its mark on the box office.

If you happen to take a look at the list of the biggest box office flops ever, you will realize that hype and cast does not always equal to week one blockbusters. Whether the flopping of a film is caused by strong competition or simply poor publicity, having a film earning not even a fourth of its budget certainly comes with problems. You might be able to name a handful of films that constitute part of the biggest box office flops of all-time which you actually liked, However, thanks to diversity, no matter how much you like a film, it will flop if others don't watch it. In this list, we have some of the biggest box office flops ever. You can watch or re-watch them and see if they deserved their box-office fate.
