What are the most binge-worthy anthology TV series?

What makes an anthology series special from a normal television show? Is it the director's way of telling the story? Is it the breaking of monotony? By monotony, we mean the seemingly unending seasons with a lot of filler episodes (and scenes) that tend to make you lose interest in the middle. Or perhaps, is it the thrill of introducing new faces and characters per episode? Remember The Twilight Zone? Remember how this suspense-horror anthology series introduces standalone episodes, with new characters and plots that are almost totally unrelated? Or is it the ability of the showrunners to actually present its audience with unique episodes that are painstakingly woven together--its characters and plot--while keeping the show and director's vision of it? If you answered 'yes' to all these questions, then you are a certified binge-watcher who finds it interesting to watch new content each time you tune in.

Enter the best anthology TV series to binge-watch this weekend! To talk about this genre without mentioning the renowned screenwriter slash producer slash director Ryan Murphy would make it less appealing. Murphy, one of the creators of the famous anthology series American Horror Story, has this technique of retaining the show's core cast like Jessica Lange and Sarah Paulson while drifting between grim stories per year; Making the show land on the second spot in the list of anthology series that we have. Yet, veering towards the modern side of things is Charlie Brooker's drama-thriller Black Mirror. In this case, you won't have any issue catching up on its recent episodes as each offers you a clean slate. For more shows, go through our list below!

"The variety that detective shows featured in this TV series is impressive asf yo Not unlike those CSI crap with all the "enhance the reflection on that screw that's clearly unseeable in the camera to find the bad guy". This one is pretty realistic and shows the nitty gritty of actually being detectives..."
