The Autobots are back for another adaptation of the Transformers franchise. Yes, that’s right, another franchise for the beloved robots that could transform into any vehicles they like. This time, they’ll be gracing the giant streaming site, Netflix, for a trilogy animated series. For the production specifics, Netflix, arm in arm with Hasbro, has announced that the Transformers: War For Cybertron Trilogy will be produced by Rooster Teeth. Showrunner F. J. DeSanto will be joined by writers George Krstic, Gavin Hignight, and Brandon M. Easton. So far, so good, don’t you think? Anyway, as I have already said, this will be a trilogy. The first part is called Siege, the second one Earthrise, and the third remains unnamed. Even with these few info available, I am already buzzing with excitement!
The main plot of the series is already stated in its title: a war for Cybertron. Basically, it’s still the same old Autobots versus Decepticons. However, this time, they need to unite to save Cybertron. But knowing these two races, we all know they won’t cooperate with each other to make their lives easier. Oh, they would but only if their own terms and conditions will be met. So without a doubt, Optimus Prime and Megatron go head to head against each other to prove their dominance or something like that. Though the main conflict is already served, we still don’t know how the story will take its course. That being said, fans are hoping for some things to be included in the new animated series. Do you want to know what are these? Then keep reading! Here is the compilation of the top things fans want to see from Netflix’s Transformers: War for Cybertron. Do you think these are wishful thinking or not?
While Cybertron will be the main focus of the series, it would be fun to see other planets in the Transformers universe. Obviously, Earth will be included again. However, a glimpse of Velocitron, Caminus, or Eukaris will be awesome.
We know that the Transformers can literally transform themselves. A piece of additional knowledge on how they are able to do this would be well appreciated. We’re seriously curious about the science behind even if it’s fictional.
Just as Decepticons are equated to being evil, almost all Autobots are also perceived as good. It is worth noting that there’s always gonna be a bad egg in a batch. Seeing a flawed Autobot would make the story interesting.
We know Megatron is evil and his minions are as well. However, that’s not always the case. There’s always going to be someone who’s principles are justified. It would be nice if we can see the gray side of one of the Decepticons.
Every Transformers movie or show almost always takes place on Earth. The second installment of Wars for Cybertron is even called Earthrise. This time, fans are hoping that the story will forgo any friendship with human kids that puts their life at risk.
