For what it's worth, you must know that the Vietnam War had cost the United States 47, 000 lives in combat; Another 11, 000 non-combat deaths and over 150, 000 wounded Americans; The worst part is there are around 10, 000 people missing. The question here is never about who stood out victorious between the communist forces, comprising South Vietnamese guerrillas, North Vietnamese Army, and the anti-communist party that included the United States, alongside members of Southeast Asia Treaty Organization (SEATO). It is whether or not the longest war which America had been part of is worth the thousands of lives the siege had claimed from both military factions.
