Actress Dimples Romana who plays Daniela Mondragon couldn't believe all the "Daniela the Explorer" memes. They've become somewhat of a craze on social media. The meme features her character in a beautiful mini red dress with a matching suitcase. Due to her history of being everywhere both in the Philippines and internationally, she's been compared to the famous cartoon "Dora the Explorer." Dimples told reporters in an interview, "I was told that memes and trending topics only last for a day, but our memes have been making rounds for more than a week." Since it aired in October 2018, Kadenang Ginto ABS-CBN's hit television show has got viewers hooked every afternoon. It hit an all-time high national TV rating of 27.3 percent according to Kantar Media. That's no easy feat, especially for an afternoon show. ABS-CBN announced in a press release that AnTV (an Indonesian television network) has started airing "Putri Mahkota" on January 5, 2020. Wincess Gonzalez, ABS-CBN's International Distribution Asia sales head, spoke about the achievement. “We’re excited for Indonesian viewers to welcome into their homes every night the story of Kadenang Ginto. This groundbreaking achievement will continue to inspire ABS-CBN to roll out narrative formats that foreign audiences will love,” she said. Aside from that, Myanmar has also been airing the original Philippine version of the show on the television network Sky Net. There are also a handful of sources online for Kadenang Ginto live streaming. Truly, the show has exceeded expectations and has raised the bar for Filipino TV shows.
