Who are the most anticipated Star Wars Rebels characters that could appear in The Mandalorian?
The creator and animator behind Star Wars Rebels Dave Filoni is insinuating that the characters of the animated Star Wars television show Star Wars Rebels might make an appearance on the live-action TV series on Disney+ The Mandalorian. Since Rebels ended on its fourth season, fans are curious to see some of the main characters make a crossover on The Mandalorian.
Sabine Wren
There have been talks that the Star Wars Rebels characters will possibly appear on The Mandalorian in live-action, and the first name that comes to mind is Sabine Wren's. The female Mandalorian warrior is one of the main characters of Star Wars Rebels who served as a revolutionary leader in the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire. Seeing her on The Mandalorian might put an interesting spin on the Star Wars TV series.
Ahsoka Tano
Aside from Sabine Wren, another Star Wars Rebels character that would make an interesting addition to The Mandalorian would be the Jedi Padawan and Togruta female Ahsoka Tano. Although Ahsoka Tano originated in The Clone Wars, Lucasfilm is adamant about adding her to live-action, particularly in a future Star Wars Movie. Seeing Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian is not so far-fetched after all.
Ezra Bridger
Ezra Bridger is a titular character of the Star Wars Rebels series although he remained missing by the finale of the Rebels series. The possibility of Sabine Wren and the other members of The Ghost crew looking for him could be played out on The Mandalorian, or perhaps saved for another tale.
Hera Syndulla
The Mandalorian is the only live-action television series offered by the Star Wars franchise out of many movies, books, and animated shows so of course, there are still characters that have yet to be fleshed out in a live-action. One interesting character from Star Wars Rebels who we might have a possibility to see in real life through The Mandalorian is the revolutionary and pilot Hera Syndulla.
Captain Rex
Rex is one of the many anticipated Star Wars Rebels characters expected to make an appearance in The Mandalorian. The veteran clone captain Rex plays a big role in the animated series and it would be fascinating how his live-action appearance in The Mandalorian will shape the story.
